I have a fx 8320 and msi 970-a g43. It's from 2012 and 2nd hand it was working fine and then it stopped working. It would boot windows but now it won't it reaches bios and gets to the loading screen and crash and restart in a boot loop. I have different installs of windows to test need help

I would unplug the hard disks and see if it is reaching BIOS at all without any OS. If it still isn't my guess would be CPU/MOBO died or the power suppy isn't supplying enough power.

i have a 650watt is more then enough

If you have a different power supply I would try that as well, just as another possible point of failure. The one you're using could have for whatever reason crapped out on you.

 

IMO I think it's probably the CMOS Battery that needs replacing. They are no more than $10 if that, just look at the number on it (ie: 2032) to make sure you get the right one. If you happen to have another motherboard kicking around just swap it from that and you can troubleshoot without spending any $.

i did that the mobo booted to bios once on new battery and then went to black screen just selling it to someone who can fix it
