It looks similar to a fan header but that would be a weird place for one. it might also be where a battery pack plugs in. One of my raid cards had a little battery pack to help the raid card finish its job should the computer ever lose power suddenly

Can you provide a model of the card, I'm guessing it's a NIC?

It's for Wake on Lan

Very old ancient motherboards needs to use it for the wake on lan feature where the board also has the same 3 pin header. Newer boards of today don't need it.

Kinda looks like it but there are two keyed parts on a fan connector left and right, not center
