Looking for some recommendations on best thought for cooling in a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG case.  Basically I am building a new Ryzen 7 1800x system.  I know the case comes with 2 140mm fans.  I am thinking I am going to do a 360 AIO RAD.  My question is with that case I have heard airflow can be a bit tricky, mainly at the top.  I am wondering what my best approach is in terms of placement of the AIO RAD.

Initial thought is putting the RAD on the top of the case.  Populating the front of the case with (3) 120mm fans and then putting the 360 rad on the top with its (3) 120 mm rads.

Thinking about the following AIO

My only real concern is heat dissipation on the RAD at the top if airflow is tight on the beveled edges of the case.  Would anyone here view that as a concern as well?  Would it potentially be better to put the RAD on the front?

Just curious.  Also considering the Eclipse P400 TG as a case option as well.  Not sure if there would be a choice that might make more sense given that.

Thanks,

Matt

Not the best idea to use that case honestly, JayzTwoCents stopped using his ryzen 1800x build in it because of how hot it was getting.

Though he did point out it's not all the case's fault, as he didn't design the loop around the case's airflow. if you plan it out well, it should work fine. And I think it includes 3 fans, at least mine did.

So actually that was a video that made me question cooling a bit more for this one. I have been wanting to use this case for a while, but not had an opportunity.  It is generally one of the better reviewed cases.  I guess my question is why do so many then think so highly of it if the airflow would not be good enough for a fairly straight forward system?

Just quote or tag us if you want us to see your reply (example: @Zando Bob). And I think it's generally well reviewed because of it's beautiful design, build quality, and water-cooling support. Though for water-cooling, you have to plan your loop a bit more carefully than in other cases. I'd say to use thinner rads with push/pull fans, pulling air in the front and exhausting out the top and back. Doubled up fans should push enough air to get good temps.
