GPUs used for bitcoin mining have been running 24/7 under full load most of the time so they are much more likely to fail. You may have luck with yours but the chance of getting a dead GPU or one dying soon is much higher than with usual used hardware.

A 2 years old gpu rx 470/480 etc... used to mine bitcoins will be the same as a 2 years old gpu used for intense games?
If that's the case i'm going to buy one of those in my country for a good price...
New bios upgrade of course...

Bitcoin miner used cards are arguably fine to use. Maybe replacing the fans and thermal paste would be recommended as the cards were likely to have been running 24/7.

The days have moved on from the massive bulk of thermals to which encountered most systems, and GPU pricing appears to have settled slightly down from last week's crypto currency GPU incidents.

I once did the unthinkable, back many headphones ago...

I split an audio split, again

Most people mine Bitcoin with specialized processors these days, because it's too difficult to mine with video cards.

Ethereum is now popular and is a currency that is designed in such a way that it's very difficult to create and produce specialized processors so everybody has to use video cards or regular processors to mine for this coin.

In the last months there was a rush on this currency and a lot of people bought a lot of Polaris series video cards to mine this currency, because it had the best price for the performance. As the RX 470/480/570/580 went out of stock, people went for second best which was GTX1060 and GTX1070

The majority of people that started mining due to the increased popularity of Ethereum probably bought cards in the last 3-6 months, so chances are almost all of the video cards bought  for mining still have a lot of "life" in them.

 1-2?

People got rabid about etherium around 2 months ago onwards, a large bulk of used mining cards will be very new.   Same applies to the 1060 and especially the 1070 (miners only started buying 1070s when the 1060s and 48/470/580/57 ran out)

The currency started to go up around 25th of May and now it's going down a bit. It will eventually stabilize and go up but at a slower rate.

You may see a lot of 4 GB video cards for sale in maybe 2-6 months, because the mining software is designed in such a way that as more people start mining, the software uses more video card memory to mine coins.. right now the software already uses around 2.5 GB of memory.

Already it's almost impossible to mine with cards that have only 3 GB of memory and in a few months as the memory required gets close to 4 GB, cards with 4 GB of memory may become too slow to be worth using, compared with the 8 GB versions of same cards... so people may start selling them.
