Massdrop! Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce OC 8G $449 USD

Zyndo

Title says it all. Massdrop has this Gigabyte GTX 1080 for $449 USD right now with free shipping anywhere in the US. Current retail pricing puts it well over $500. $449 is competative against GTX 1070 prices (especially with how inflated they are nowadays). Be sure to get yours soon before the miners buy up all the supply on this great deal!

I'm considering selling my 1060 to get a 1080

and me my 980ti! I could probably get close to this price for my 980ti, throw in maybe another $50-$100 and get a 1080. Would basically pay less than $100 for a Gtx 1080... not a bad deal ;)

I'll be getting a GTX 580 windforce, close enough.

Yeah, I imagine I could sell my 1060 for around $400 and a 1080 is only around $500 normally so I think it would be a good deal, if only miners bought i5s as well.....

This $400 price is far and few between. Many 480s/580s barely hit $400 which is insane. It would take nearly 2 1/2 months to pay off the card card assuming there is a currency that stays at a stable rate which won't happen.

You think I should try to sell my 1060?

I think there isn't really any chance of you getting $400 for your 1060 (even with the mining inflation)... but if you had a more realistic number in mind, and wouldn't mind spending the funds for an upgrade, then definitely its worth looking into IMO.

Not sure where you find that information, but its probably due to price. cheapest 1080 out there with a good triple fan cooler on it and nice looking backplate. for a clean overall aesthetic and neutral colour scheme (the orange won't be seen)
