Laptop locks game to 30 fps

My laptop is asus gl502vm

it haves i7 6700hq and gtx 1060 

when i unplug it from the wall every game i play is locked to 30 fps.how can i disable this 30 fps lock?

Power settings and then change it to balanced or high performance mode.

138 is a good number.

change power setting to high performance probably. maybe asus software has a setting you need to change also.

If you don't already have it installed, install Geforce Experience. Somewhere in the settings there is an option called "Battery Boost" or something like that. From there you can either change the frame rate it limits it to on battery or completely turn it off. If not that, then check Vsync settings in your games or Geforce control panel.
