Bottlenecking

I have a windows 10 pc with

CPU: AMD FX 6300 4.5GHZ

GPU: GTX 970

RAM: DDR3 16 GB 1333mhz overclocked to 1600mhz

HDD 1: WD BLUE

HDD 2: WD GREEN

MOBO ASUS M5

I am trying to justify is i have a bottleneck i just ran msi kombuster 3 my gpu ran smooth at 100% and at the same time i ran Prime95 and mu cpu ran smoothly at 100%

Can anyone tell me if there is a bottleneck i can run my CPU, RAM and GPU all at 100% is this good?

That's not how you test for a bottleneck. You can only test for a bottleneck if the program is simultaneously using the GPU and CPU, and is well optomised. When running a program like that, if the GPU's utilisation is less than 100%, there is a bottleneck.

Bottlenecks will depend on the software that you're using. Kombuster is a GPU-intensive program and therefore your GPU is the bottleneck. 

 

I would try out games like Tomb Raider, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, MGSV, and World of Warcraft. First should present no GPU/CPU bottleneck as performance will be excellent, second should be a GPU bottleneck as the engine is heavily reliant on the GPU, third should have no bottleneck as it's well optimized for everything, and WoW should be a CPU bottleneck as it only uses a few physical cores.

I ran a rise of the tomb raider benchmark and my gpu wouldnt go no higher then 99% and my cpu is around 40% to 60%

Your GPU is giving you all it has. What about the other games?

I ran crysis 3 and my GPU was about 50% to 65% and the cpu was around 40% to 60% but i wasnt in a very intensive aira i dont think anyway

The starting sequence and 2nd level are very intense portions. If you're not hitting 100% on either one, the software is the bottleneck or you have V-Sync on.

I tryed running ROTTR and Crysis at the same time one on one screen and one on the other and ROTTR was gettin about 15fps and Crysis 3 was getting 30fps and the GPU was at 100% and the cpu was at 80%

BTW im using msi afterburner to see the usage

You should only run one game at a time as you normally would.

ROTTR with no fps limit. The GPU 100% and the CPU 65% maximum ([34fps low] and [50fps high] Very high settings [Textures on High])

Crysis 3 with no fps limit. The GPU 99% and the CPU 70% maximum ([45fps low] and [50fps high] Ultra settings)

Lower the settings until you max out the CPU and GPU at 100%.

 

For those two cases, the GPU is giving all it can and the CPU is pushing hard as well.
