Is it true that InWin 301 have a bad airflow?

If that's the case then I'd gladly change it. I really love the design tho.

This is my build plan.

Kinda.

I built in one recently, and it sucks all it's air through the side panel, through a series of small holes. if you don't have SP fans, you should change the case, but unless you needs tons of airflow for something like a custom loop all going through a 240mm rad or something, it should be fine for normal use.

They address the whole airflow thing @2:55

Very concerning temperatures.

I definitely reckon that a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX would give better results than this, but the guy in the video did say the temps were maybe 10C higher than you'd normally expect, so it's hardly catastrophic. SFF PCs regularly struggle to achieve better temps than that, although yes they are pretty high temps for a larger case.

I've noticed this comment. : 1a2a5fe196.png

It looks like his setup wasn't properly optimized for that case.

That kinda makes sense actually, and might also have a big impact on temps, which might give the OP a good plan for setting up his case. Good spot!

I'd like to see a different result with the right airflow setup =(

They ran the case without any fans, and the temps are actually not that bad. I do think that with added fans, maybe intake at the bottom and exhaust at the top/side, you could bring those temps down to more normal levels.

I've personally ruled this particular case out of the build that I am planning, due to the fact that the CPU cooler clearance is not high enough to fit a Noctua NH-D15 or a BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3, so my current favourite is the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv TG mATX. It's quite expensive (although it actually comes with fans!), but looks even better to me!
