So, my friend is having an issue where after windows updated and now its using up all the disk space. He has no backups of before the update and it ran just fine before the update. is a complete reinstall of windows the way to go. He's in Canada and I'm in the U.S. so I can't just go over and check it out. but he's saying something on the task manager called wsappx is using all of the disk space. Thanks in advance!!

the dism repair tool might help https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/7808-use-dism-repair-windows-10-image.html if that doesn't work Google returns a lot of threads where people didn't get it resolved and a clean install may be the only hope

First, try leaving it alone for a few hours or days and see if it stops. If not, you can try "sfc /scannow" in command prompt.

Otherwise, he should clean install, this is probably happening because he upgraded to windows from 7 or 8, or he migrated/cloned a drive.
