same generation, same clockspeed .. 

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB 

138 is a good number.

Are you sure? This spreadsheet shows 3820's a fair bit faster than the 3770k, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sxzGshuqVtFe_2zgRhN3gXCraR7d8p-NazJ6z0nsGGc/edit#gid=1

 

I was just wondering how legit these results where, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how cheap the 3820 sold for... If these benchmarks are legit, thats one hell of a chip for the price.

Aren't the E series hexacore processors a generation behind making it equal to a 2700k at the same speeds? For example the 5820k is haswell E, when the 5000 series was Broadwell, and the hexacore 6000 series is going to be Broadwell E.

 

EDIT: Okay nevermind scratch all of that, the 3820 is is 4 core 8 thread CPU.... what the hell's the point of that when the 3770 exists?
