EKWB Kits

Hey guys brand new to custom cooling and im getting this kit for my cpu https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-kit-l360-r2-0 and was hoping to get some advice on what brands to buy for coolant and tubing, i want to change out that black tubing for clear tubing please help!

tubing especially.  For coolant primochill or mayhems (pastel) though I've heard of issues with opaque coolant

could you link me what size coolant and stuff i should get, and how much tubing should i buy?

Did you buy the kit already? If not, then consider the P360 kit from EKWB.

 

The coolant that comes included is excellent enough to warrant its usage.

Clear tubing can be had from EKWB. Size should be 10/13mm ID/OD (3/8-1/2 in.) due to the included fittings. The EK-DuraClear tubing is a good choice of tubing. For coolant, Mayhems X1 Clear coolant with Mayhems dyes (of any color combination) is the best you can get.

That is a .999 pure silver antimicrobial coil that you can drop into the reservoir. Helps combat growth in your loop.

http://www.performance-pcs.com/fluids-additives/mayhems-x1-clear-concentrate-100ml.html This makes 1 liter of coolant when mixed.

 

http://www.performance-pcs.com/mayhems-pastel-uv-white-concentrate-250ml.html If you want white pastel coolant. Remember you can't pour this down the drain like you can with X1 coolant. You have to take this coolant to your local recycling place (like one that takes used motor oil) to dispose of it as it contains titanium and zinc oxide in it, and those metals aren't environmentally friendly. It lasts a long time however.

After 2-4 years of use in a soft-tubing loop. I also edited my last post to clarify

Yep those are all over YouTube (JayzTwoCents, Lifehacker, Techquickie, etc.). It's even in the instructions manual if you need it as well.

btw that EK DuraClear you linked isnt the size you said does that matter?

Are your fittings 10/13mm (3/8-1/2 in.). soft tubing is a little smaller ID wise so it can form a seal around the barb.

You'll want to go for the 10/16mm variation of the DuraClear tubing then
