Well, it has one extra core unit, and probably a bit better binned, so it's better but it's still an FX processor.

AMD FX CPUs aren't really a good choice in 2017. Can you afford a Ryzen 5 1400?

I would say yes, but neither are good options. In this day and age you should be getting a g4560 or Ryzen instead.

Yup, I agree, you shouldn't buy any of the FX processor right now. The ryzen 5 series is much better, and offer a much better value for the money.

G4560 is better at gaming than either of the CPUs you listed.
