My First Gaming PC. EVER!

Hello first time poster. Now I don't have pictures to go along with this post I just thought it will be neat to share. When i had built this pc it was towards the end of 2011 and everything was second hand. Basically my first build was scrapyard wars material. Also feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on any specs. I'm doing this from memory.

 

Cpu: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.66GHz

Cooler: Intel stock cpu cooler

Motherboard: Asrock G31 M-GS R2.0

Ram: 2x PNY DDR2-800 4gb 

HDD: 2x Seagate baracudda 500Gb 5400rpm 

Gpu: EVGA GEFORCE GTX 550 TO 2Gb

Psu: some 500w power supply. Don't remember the brand but it wasn't modular. 

Case: Antec 900 ATX Mid Tower Case with USB 3.0

Why 600Mhz RAM when it can do 1333?

I mixed something up with it I knew it sounded wrong that's why I said to correct me if I was wrong. But it was at 1333. The pc is actually being used by one of my friends as a csgo/league of legends machine, as well as other games.

Down the road when you want an upgrade, if you have the money, upgrade the power supply to a reputable brand one like a Corsair power supply and upgrade your graphics card to something like a GTX 950 or a GTX 760 and you have a system that will be able to play recent games at medium settings at 1080p!

Yeah at the time of this build or maybe a few years after when I was still using it. I believe thoes cards were brand new but I was happy with the build and for my first build I put a lot of thought into it. But thank you for your comments.
