holly shit balls i did it i got my hynix ram running at 3200mhz on ryzen

finally got there after a few months of trying !
with the new bios agesa code 1006 i didnt get any improvements at all after trying lots of different thing but today i bumped up my soc to 1.2 and ram voltage to 1.385v and booted into windows and ram r15 a few times to make sure i was still stable but its working !!!!!!!!!! i have hynix ram running at 3200mhz on ryzen 

AMD (and proud) r7 1700 4ghz- 

also (1600) 

asus rog crosshairs vi hero x370-

MSI 980ti G6 1506mhz slix2 -

h110 pull - acer xb270hu 1440p -

 corsair 750D - corsair 16gb 2933

No idea, probably. Ryzen is new, so durability on the IMC is not going to be known for a few years. You might be one of the first to find out if voltages wear it out though.

Well amd say 1.2 is fine in the soc I was just wondering about the ram voltage

It really depends on your workload, you probably won't find more than 1% improvement in most things. There will of course be a few games which will benefit somewhat.

By 'normal' do you mean non-Samsung B-die, or non-RGB?

I am pretty I have read reports of others getting lucky to 3200 on various budget budget dies, often with not so brilliant timings.

hynix caps out at 3200, this has been found by many

if you can get 3600+ on B-Die, that's an achievement as it usually caps out at around that.

And here's the kicker as Iv pstate oced when xfr kicks in I hit 4.11 on the cpu single core and ram boosts to 3556mhz
