Go to solution Solved by pxnguinPr3,

Hey guys, update: im an idiot, and i fully accept it. My circuit breaker triggered at the start of the backup, and half way throuhg my laptops battery was emptied, i didnt realise! Thanks and sorry!

Hi, sorry for disrupting your day but my laptop, a dell inspiron was doing a 700 Gb backup, i left it for 45 minutes, when i came back it was off.

When i came back to it i tried to turn it on by the power button, the disk drive activated for about half a secound, as did the hard drive and the indicator light. I have tried taking the battery out and holding the power button, had the plug in and out, i dont know what to do! Someone please help,

Hi.

Sounds like you need to RMA it. Good thing you do backups because it's possible you could lose your data

EDIT: Or that ok
