Question. Is there a way to compare the onboard graphics of a cpu to a gpu?

Hi. I wanted to know if I could find information for comparing the graphic processing performance of a gpu and a cpu. If there is a site with a backlog of records, could you point me to it?

I want to know because I would like to compare a i7 6700k to any cheap(relatively) gpu on amazon so that I know just how much more performance I am getting. Thanks for any responses BTWxD

The on-board GPU of a Core 2 Duo is nowhere near as good as a basic GPU. There's your answer. What's this for?

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

There's a few benchmark sites out there, some better than others.

Here's one.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

core 2 duos don't have a gpu on the die it is from the mobo. look at used graphics cards over new if you want to upgrade. 750tis can be had for 50$ used most of the time

I already know that! It's called common sense. I want to know EXACTLY how much more performance I am getting, not whether or not it's better.

I see that I can compare CPUs with other CPUs but I want to compare a CPU's graphics to a GPU's graphics. Can this site do that?

The Core 2 Duo doesn't have a GPU. It is integrated into the motherboard, so it would be very diverse.

Yes, in UserBenchmark just click "COMPARE", then "GPU" and type the iGPU and GPU names (just one on either side).
