Internet Friendly Media Encoder

Introduction

Hello everyone, long time ago I develop media converter software. Time to share with everyone :)

IFME quite popular, even production studio use for batch and archive their video (using HEVC), so they can put more video in same disk.

Apology

I have some trouble to complete version 7 since last year, my PC died, now using Intel Core 2 Duo E7500, yes, I rape this CPU by installing Windows 10, Visual Studio 2015 and VM. If have bug, or thing I miss, tell me, I will fix it.

Feature

IFME support read AviSynth scripts, you can Frame Rate conversion from 24fps to 60fps by doing "Frame Interpolation".

Multi-stream support, for Mkvtoolnix users, you may familiar with this, even can do mkv muxing without converting.

System Requirement

64-bit Windows 7 and above & 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04.2 and above (you can use any distro)

.NET Framework 4.0 or Mono Runtime (other binary is statically linked)

CPU with AVX Instruction Set (without this, your 6 core uber slow)

4GB RAM for 1080p @ 10bit (4K @ 10-bit? You need more RAM)

Source Code

Main programming language is C#, .NET 4.0 is used, can be build or compile under Ubuntu, you can review or improve here

Compiling in Linux is straight forward:

mkdir ~/GitHub
cd ~/GitHub
git clone https://github.com/Anime4000/IFME
cd IFME
./configure
make

Download

Here link to download, software it self is portable, no install required.

decoder use ffmpeg, encoder use x265 or x264 compatible binary, later in task manager, you will see ffmpeg.exe and x265.exe together.

No, if you download IFME from:

1. https://sourceforge.net/projects/ifme/

2. https://github.com/Anime4000/IFME/releases

3. https://www.videohelp.com/software/Internet-Friendly-Media-Encoder

4. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Encoders-Converter-DIVX-Related/Internet-Friendly-Media-Encoder.shtml

You can verify Hash File if zip file is broken or not (v7.1):

Build with Microsoft .NET 4.0 (C# Language), any .NET program can reverse engineer or de-compile.

my code is clean, and open source
