How long will the old tool still work for though?  They updated it from time to time, which I assume meant it needed those updates in order to continue working with newer versions of games.  I have to wonder if finding a different tool, at least until Take-Two gets their act together and repeals their actions, would be best.

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

honestly id be scared to use that tool after the gta threats and money removal waves of the gunrunning dlc day, if you went on like any server you would see like every single person on it complaining about how rockstar took away their (totaly legit) 100s of millions of dollars, they seem to be really good at finding people using mods now and honestly im scared to use mods even in singleplayer on the threat of banning

Omega-  I5 6600k | Gigabyte GTX 1060 | Cougar Panzer | DDR4 16GB 3000MHz | MSI Z170 Gaming M5

               EVGA 650 GQ | AOC 60Hz Freesync Panels x2 | AOC 144hz Freesync Panel x1

Epsilon- I7 2700k | Asus GTX 970 | Corsair 780t | DDR3 8GB 1600MHz | EVGA Z68 FTW Mobo

               Corsair 750W G2 | Acer R240HY x2

Upsilon- i7 5500u | 6GB DDR3 | 720p 60Hz panel

Why?  It wasn't rockstar that made this decision.  In fact, they recently released a statement saying they were trying to work with Take-Two (the actual problem makers) to find a solution that can keep them and the players happy.

I don't think rockstar has anything against single player mods and I don't think there's any reason to worry about being banned for it

Indeed, Rockstar has been actively using OpenIV in their marketing material on their official website for years. Take Two's imagined lawsuit would be on some extremely dodgy ground.

Wait, what? Seriously? That could turn this around right quick if that's the case, anybody can look at that and see that T2 is full of hot air. Just as an aside that I think is amusing about this whole thing, the current standing of GTA V on Steam puts it at worse status than No Mans Sky.

They have an entire section on their official blog devoted to "funny" fan videos using OpenIV.

and again, rightfully so.  Rockstar can use that flood of reviews and go to T2 like "see what you've done?"
