Google Maps: 3D Objects?

Go to solution Solved by A Silver,

EDIT: Here is the link

There is a YouTube video they made showing how, give me a few minutes and i will edit my reply with the link.

Does anyone know how google maps creates 3d objects from aerial photography? I find this very interesting, and was wondering how it was done.

Images attached are in more detail; some random neighborhood that the trees are 3d and the houses are semi 3d...

Any ideas on how this is done?

Here is an actual image from google maps: either way they are both making 3d objects, how is this done?!?

Thanks!

No problem, it is really amazing how they do it. Even the small planes at my local airfield are 3d.
