After a ton of research need some last minute sanity checks before I buy.

**Total budget and country of purchase:** 2,000 - 2,600 US * **Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Battery needs to be decent enough for airport trips willing to purchase external power bank would rather get more specs than better battery.
  * **How important is weight and thinness to you?** will be taking it to me to airport and hotels although I'm a pretty big guy so anything under 15ish pounds should be fine.
* **Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux.** Windows
* **Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.** 15
* **Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.** Wife may do some minor photo editing from time to time. Would like it to run all AAA games, will also be playing more intense games like star citizen.
* **If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?** I would like at least 60 fps on high/ ultra settings.*
**Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?** G-sync and 120hz is a must I want to enjoy the FPS that I'm able to achieve.
* **Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.** Looking essentially for a desktop replacement due to new job requiring me to travel a good majority of the time. My wife is also starting to use my Pc at home for photography business. Looking to get my best bang for my buck also I may be taking it into meeting so it needs to look professional.
I have read a lot of information on the matter and I believe this setup is as good as I could get for the price point. Please let me know if there is a laptop I'm missing or something better. https://m.newegg.com/products/9SIAATJ5C70143?cm_re=Prostar_Clevo-_-9SIAATJ5C70143-_-Product

Never heard of that company, so I'd be dubious. Asus and Gigabyte, as well as Acer, have thinner and lighter laptops with good battery life and great specs.

Try something like this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834234459

It's a 17" laptop, but is pretty thin for what it's packing, has a 120Hz G-Sync panel, etc.

EDIT: 15" version: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834234458

EDIT EDIT: And if you can wait a bit, there's new laptops coming out using Nvidia new tech (forget what it's called) that lets them make really thin notebooks that can still pack a 1070 or 1080. You could also check out EVGA's laptops.

All of these suggestions are garbarge. The Asus GLX02VS series is completely shit. Hot as fuck. Bad temps. Crippled firmware. Also nvidia's new Max-Q series is essentially a 0-value proposition. You're paying for 1080 laptop but getting OCed 1070 performance.

This is a great option. Though I wouldn't get it from ProStar. Spec it out in the following two locations and see what appeals to you more.

https://lpc-digital.com/product/sager-np8157-clevo-p650hs-g/?ex=1

http://www.hidevolution.com/evoc-p650hs-g-15-6-custom-built-gaming-laptop-w-nvidia-gtx-1070-w-g-sync.html

I would get it at HID for liquid metal for even better temps underload.

If you want the 17in version, Clevo offers it as well.

Since your budget stretches to 2600 we can play around a bit. Sometimes the Acer Predator line comes down in price and you can pick up their 1080 laptops at a price point acceptable. Same thing with Alienware. The Aorus X5v6/7 is also a real option here. The v6 is heavily discounted and is the thinnest and lightest laptop with a 1070 that still functions.

Please note the 15in 3k screens are absolutely terrible.
