Seems like my GPU doesn't boost in games.

IAmAkiro

Hello, lately I've came across to see that my GTX 1070 ASUS ROG Strix OC Edition card in gaming mode, doesn't hit the aprox 2000 MHZ (I know I know) But I am wondering before I played Friday 13 The game on the 2nd highest setting with Vsync turned on, and before it usally gave me a bit over 2000 MHZ not it only hits around 1987 MHZ and I am wondering, because I think it came from the last GPU update, so yeah basically can that update have made so my card doesn't overperform or maybe give a bit of under performance?

Sorry for my bad english + grammar, I don't really know how to set this up otherwise, nor ask the question.

with Vsync turned on

i'd guess that after said driver update, your GPU doesnt need that last 13MHz to hit your vsync framerate.

Might be it, but I can't remember if it does the same in Dota 2, I'm running with

FPS_MAX 240 there.

easy to find out: turn vsync off and run the game again to see if the card can hit 2000 MHz this time
