Hello!
I am currently running 3 monitors and I was wondering if I would get better performance if I switched to two. As I am too lazy to test it myself I'm asking you guys.

2 GTX 970s

If it's just on the desktop, it won't meaningfully affect your framerate, but if you're spanning games across all three monitors then it is triple the work, so one third the fps.

As long as you don't run the game on all 3 monitors it won't change your fps.

It does change the FPS, by an amount which is often shrugged off as inmeasureable, which most tech people interpret as NO change to FPS.

However in the very low framerates (sub 40) it can become noticeable. Nvidia has a single display performance setting in the driver, so try out that and turn the other displays off when you don't need them if you want maximum performance.

It will impact performance slightly, but not more than a few FPS, not that big of an issue (Use igpu for other monitors if you need to).

You arent running games on them? Just connect it up to the outputs on your motherboard.

You can't do that as far as I know. They get disabled when a GPU is connected. I'm not sure why.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

It does that automatically to save power (I would presume), I believe you can enable it again in the BIOS.
