I need a laptop recommendation

What do you guys think of the razer blade? I have seen a lot of bad reviews online but I know 2 people personally who own the new one and they haven't had any issues yet...

Razer makes a good machine, but I hear their support is garbage.

Do you think buying from a store like bestbuy or Microsoft will make it worth purchasing

They are new, finding new benchmarks isn't the easiest thing in the world.

I said I was done having this argument with you..or did that fly over your head?

Not unless you get it on sale from them.

BestBuy had a $250 discount on my MacBook Pro for presidents day. So unless they have a sale going on, buying from a physical store won't change much.

I don't know of any Best Buys that sell Razer laptops..maybe a MicroCenter or a Frys. They don't sell the normal Blade on the Microsoft store site.

I assume you would have to buy a Microsoft PC then no?

They are harder to recommend than MacBooks imo.

not worth it, Razer computers are very poorly engineered.

If it weren't for that green I would say they look nice.

Like black MacBooks that are just thicker and feel slightly worse.

You can buy laptops from sellers other than Microsoft on their website as Signature Edition PCs.  I'm sure it would apply to those.

Best buy has it ship to Store on the website, and Microsoft sells all the blades on their website and I saw them in store. Are you in the US because that may be the reason you're not seeing it

you can't compare MacBooks to Razer laptop, MacBook at least can last few years without breaking down or have a good support channel.

Practically I think 4 hours is the minimum for anyone, that's even pushing it pretty close to being trash.

I know you'll hate hearing this, but the only gaming laptop that can get that comfortably is the Alienware 15 R3.  I know you said you don't want it, but I have one myself and it easily lasts that long.  Mine has lasted up to 9 hours.

EDIT-Yeah, I forgot the Aero 15.  That should last that long too.

If I were to go with Alienware should I do the smaller one with the oled screen? I just don't like how bulky Alienware looks especially since I have to carry it around all day

"better" is subjective, my wife has the MSI vr stealth, nice looking laptop works well long as you reinstall Windows( MSI has a lot of bloatware), Aero 14 seems to get a lot of prase, support might be difficult to get if you run into trouble, overall it looks really nice. it will be up to you but both are nice computers, i personally like the MSI machine especially after you under volt it and replace thermal paste, you get a good boost in battery life, no throttling due to good thermal design.

I'm not super tech savvy so I don't plan on touching the internals lol

So now I'm thinking of Alienware, msi and aero
