@LinusTech/LinusTechStaff (for/involved/manage channel superfun)

 

So I was just wondering, have you thought about changing it to a gaming channel (reference to the vote video) since the direction it's been going hasn't been as good as it used to be and what not? I'm kind of interested in the numbers/results/statistics etc... We've seen couch wars or whatever it was, but I wasn't sure if that was a test to see how things would go.

I think they should do stuff like they did when they were in the old office.

The vote video was so long ago that their whole company concept has changed. I don't see game reviews happening. Main reason being that they take way too long to prepare. They basicly could do first touch style thing. Where we see shortened version of someone playing some new game for the first time. Bit in style of old unboxing videos where you have spec sheet and really nothing else to work with.

 

Now with main editor/workhorse leaving (Berkel), I'm just interested to see who will be doing editing for it. Maybe Pelle?

Oh I didn't know that's what it was. I thought it was just game play material like what we saw with couch wars.

I think Battlecouch's are kinda like what old-old afterparties were for the WAN Show (garage days) where Linus and Luke would play SMB3 and Halo.

No you got it right, I just wasn't around at the time to be apart of it/see it. I still haven't watched the video either. 

 

Do you think they would think about battlecouch stuff or some how make a channel out of material like that though?

Honestly, I feel like it's more dependent on the time and the video. 

Yes, you could give it an overall question, but I feel like it would be more appropriate as stated above. 

 

But if I had to answer, right now it feels like it's aimed at teens and not preteens.

I hate all their gaming videos. I only watch stuff that involves toys, pranks, and so on. Board games are always too slow and cringy. Especially without Nicky V. The mini golf in the city was the best video in a long time. So was the axe and curling one

I didnt pay much attention, I watched the RC cars in the park, and the human board game where they were on the skateboards and had a bucket trying to obtain all the balls. Real stupidly planned video shoot. Such a small room for what they want to do. No planning when they had the warehouse built. Non. Like planning for what they want for video shoot space.
