Posted June 11, 2017 I've built my pc last may, and I've checked on market that 16 gb of ddr4 ram costs CDN $150.(I bought mine at $75 at the time) Is there any reason why? Just wondering Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/791965-ram-price-increased/ Share on other sites
Posted June 11, 2017 Supply shortage of flash memory. SSDs are pricey right now as well. Price may go down once the supply and demand level out (platform transition to DDR4 is part of the reason, increase of M.2 drive adoption as well) or the manufacturers may realise people are still buying it at this price so keep prices high.
