The cooler already comes with thermal paste.

You're welcome, I saved you 4,75 USD!

Also, your memory is not on the Asus QVL: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/STRIX_Z270H_GAMING/STRIX_Z270H_GAMING_memory_QVL.pdf

Which means you're running a chance it wont operate at full speeds.

It's good memory and 16GB is nice to start out with, but just take into account you're taking risk with it.

Otherwise it looks good, if I were you I would consider an M.2 SSD though, like the 960 EVO. It's a bit more, but is a lot faster too (SATA SSD's are fast already, but M.2 is like ultra fast and only about 35 USD more).

It's tier 4:

Hardly bad, but yeah not the greatest. OP could consider the Corsair RMX or EVGA G3 PSU's.

It's quite an extensive list of memory xD but you're looking for 2x8GB of memory, running at 3000MHz (or more)?

Any brands you specifically were looking for? Do looks matter or..?

Either way, I will look for some compatible sets. Keep in mind not all sets may be, as, freely available in all regions.

Confirmed 3200MHz:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/4n648d/gskill-tridentz-series-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3200-memory-f4-3200c16d-16gtzkw (Black and white look)

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/sykwrH/gskill-memory-f43200c16d16gtzb (this one has no black aesthetic though)

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Cf98TW/gskill-memory-f43200c16d16gvkb

Most interesting one:

https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qGqbt6/gskill-memory-f43200c16d16gvgb

These were the most interesting ones I could find, but even the last one mentioned is twenty dollars more just for 200MHz more and it being confirmed to work at that frequency.

That list is only a list of stuff confirmed to work at whatever frequency, it could just be they have not tested the set you chose.

I'm thinking they just haven't tested it yet. I might go with that last one though just to be safe. I appreciate your help so much. Do you see anything else wrong with my build?

Looking very good now :)

By the way, I just want to mention Ryzen 7 to you.  They have, for pretty much the same price of that i7, twice the threads, but less per core performance (which is what you want in gaming). the i7 seems like a good idea for you, but I just want you to know there are more options.

Also, definitely consider making a build log: https://linustechtips.com/main/forum/3-build-logs/

This is a great way to have some mini reviews on all the components and generally is just fun to do.

You have helped me so much. I really appreciate it! I will definitely check out the build logs and the ryzen 7. You sir are the real MVP!

What are you using the pc for ?

An M.2 NVMe SSD isn't needed if you are just gaming.

Yes I was. I was looking at the Samsung U28E590D

How about something like this ?

The monitor is a 1440p 165Hz G-Sync IPS. Also as you are doing some streaming the R7 1700 will help as it is an 8 core cpu.

No SLI support but you will be fine with a single gpu at 1440p.
