Bootcamp External SSD

I have a 2012 Macbook pro with an i5 3210m and 16GB of Ram and I have a friend who would like to use it for minecraft, but it can only push 50FPS. I am wondering if it would be fine to bootcamp windows 10 on my external ssd and if it would be any faster.

 

Full Specs:

 

256GB Internal SSD with Mac OS

 

16GB DDR3 Memory

 

i5 3210m

 

Intel 4000 Graphics

 

256GB External SSD (Read/Write Speeds of 450MB/s) (Would be used for bootcamp)

external SSD Bootcamp will cause glitches, not the best idea.

The only performance improvement would be game loading quicker by a few seconds, and Bootcamp is very unstable on anything apart from internal drives
