I have an rx 470 in my 'rig'

but the cpu and mobo are pretty old with an fm2+ motherboard and a 5800k (that is veryy slow )

will this system run overwatch? Most websited say yes 100% because the bottleneck is not taken into account

will it run in a playable framerate at 1080p? high low settings?any clues?

Simply put, yes. It will run at med-high settings. Overwatch isnt demanding at all

You just might not be able to push past high framrates

You might want to consider upgrading to an A10-7860k and overclocking it. For the GPU, I don't think the RX470 will cut it. I would personally go to nvidia, but I know I'm going to start a flamewar if I go any further.

Yeah...don't 'upgrade' to fx when its about the same to upgrade to ryzen

🙂

You will definitely get over 30. My friend's 750ti is gets about 60 on medium settings, so you'l be good

I think you're just completely wrong. Flame war or not, how could an RX 470 not cut it?

If you're too lazy to click the link, it gets over 100fps average in Overwatch at 1080p Ultra.

qυoтe мe pleaѕe!

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."

Maybe I'm completely wrong about AMD and their cards are great. At least I would think that if my GTX 960 4GB SSC didn't get consistently into the 160s in overwatch.

750Ti is very similar to a 960m and I was able to run 60 constant (capped) at 1080p High on my 960m.

Depending on the 750Ti, it could more than likely go even higher than medium at 60fps :)

Hers is a pre built, IIRC it's not a very "high end" 750ti

No, we're not talking about Nvidia. Or anything like that. OP has an RX470 that will run 100fps at ultra. I don't care what gpu you run unless it's relevant to this thread.

Hint: It's not.

Yeah, and I'm throwing in my 2 cents about nVidia cards.
