Game settings help??

Go to solution Solved by That_PC_Kid,

The higher the setting and resolution the higher the workload on both the CPU and GPU but most of the workload is placed on the GPU.

Hello there!

I have a Core 2 Duo machine (E7500 OC @3.35ghz) paired with a GTX 970. Basically, my new motherboard for my new CPU is taking some time to deliver. So, I am stuck with this for the moment.

I was thinking of playing GTA V and was thinking what settings to play on.

I have two displays, one is 1920x1080 @ 60HZ and the other is 1280x800 @ 75HZ.

Is choosing any make it more cpu dependent?

I am also confused on how game settings work.

If i choose low settings, lets say cpu workload is x and gpu workload is y.

If i choose high settings, will cpu workload stay at x and gpu workload increase from y or does cpu workload also increase?

GTA V is a terrible game for this type of setup as it is more CPU dependent, i know.

Thanks for taking the time to read!
