So i bought a seasonic g series 80 plus gold psu and I thought it was going to be a good power supply because seasonic is know if their products, but mine was DOA. Tried to turn it on and it wouldn't do a thing. Made a light beeping kind of sound and once it almost came on. The computer lit up for less than a millisecond before shutting back down. What's a quality unit that I can buy that I know will be solid?

you got a dud unit. just get it swapped out for another one, problem solved. even the seasonic prime and corsair AXi will have the occasional defective unit.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

As others have said above, it's just a faulty unit, can happen to the most expensive things in the world too, doesn't mean they aren't quality, just that it had a defect and maybe quality control messed up. Just RMA it with the retailer and get a replacement sent out.
