GTX 980 SC questions

justMiga

So Hello Guys :)
I've recently switched from my R7 265 to a Second Hand Gtx 980 SC from EVGA. The card runs just fine but a few days ago i've reinstalled the old R7 to make sure it still worked (I needed to take a video since i'm trying to sell it). From that point the 980 started acting wierdly. I noticed that an old software from AMD was still installed, so i did a clean install of windows (I was planning to do so anyway so not a big problem). Now i see that in MSI afterburner the GPU utilization graph is not flat as it should, but in BF4 it's spiking a bit. GPU temp is ok at 60°C with fans at 50% and i have already reapplied some fresh Thermal Paste. Now, i have done a bit of OC on this card without any problem (Driver Crashes or Frezing).
Are those graphs ok, or there are problems?

For the first pic, the graphs are from top to bottom: Power, GPU Temp, GPU Utilization,

try anouther game or program. There is a good chance your not gpu limited. Try something like unigene valley. https://benchmark.unigine.com/valley

Valley is not that good anymore. Unigine Superposition and 3dMark FireStrike/TimeSpy are much better

GPU Utilization looks more solid but i remeber not having those deeps with my r7 265. Could it be GPU Boost doing something weird since i noticed that the deeps in all 3 graphs are coincident?
