can the gtx 980ti classified work with any gtx 980ti since its the same chip set?

evga is having a sale on gtx 980 ti and im thinking about getting it so i can sli for fun but its not a classified im pretty sure since its the same chipset itll work just fine just wanted to make sure?

IDK. I'm looking at getting one as soon as they are back in stock as well. To see if it'd work in SLI, I'd just go to EVGA's site and chat with one of their support techs. I asked the guy (Andrew was his name) a couple questions, and got an answer about as fast as he could type.

Yup. I'm watching that page with great anticipation. EVGA said on FB they have more coming in, but didn't say when.

Nope, they're all out of stock. Lots of people were complain gin the site was down because so many people wanted one. It's basically a 1070 for $200 (and it's knocked down from $660, so it's a crazy deal). Good thing is they limit your to four, so some moneybags can't just buy them all and resell them.

Yeah, it'll work. You might have some differences in card behavior but otherwise they will work together.
