This next computer will be an upgrade/overhaul of my current computer. (Has an A4 7300 APU, reason for my upgrade). I have a couple of questions to ask for my own sanity and to make sure things are compatible.

1) Will this RAM (LINK) be compatible with one of these two boards:  BOARD 1      BOARD 2     RAM is RAM and should be compatible with almost any system, but this new thing is known to be picky, I've seen on other forums that it works but I just want some reassurance from other internet people. My budget is firm for RAM, $70 or less.

2) The first board (in the 2 links above) is on back-order at the moment in the store that is local to me, should I place an order or should I buy it else where, I am getting the processor in the same store a it's the only reason why I am considering the back-order thing.

3) Is there any information on single channel with Ryzen? Can't seem to find any.

1. The ram is fine (Could get a single stick of 8Gb to make it easy to upgrade to 16 in the future though).

2. Depends whether you want to wait or pay a little extra for shipping.

Yes, the ram should work. I'd get the second board.

Any reason for the second board?

With shipping costs? (Unless you plan to pick it up).

No reason not to take it then, save also on shipping for the other store.

I love MSI stuff, don't get me wrong, but I think a SFF board would be better here. Also the MSI board looks kinda crummy...
