Minecraft server does not work.

Go to solution Solved by Agris,

Fuck this I give up on getting this to work

Hey

So basically I made a server using this video

I did everything right but .. When I join from my local IP address it works, but when from my public address it does not shows this:"java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information"

What should I do? I've even set "online-mode:false" so the server does not check if the Minecraft is legit. What the hell do I do to make this work?

Enable external connections to have access to the particular port of the server through the router and firewall maybe? I'm not sure.

Where? Do you have a screenshot of what you have so far?

I had done this earlier but still did not work that's why I made this post

How had you tested it to check that it didn't work?

I asked my friend to join the server, I have him my public IP address and said him to put it in the direct connect and connect and it did not work.

Is he connecting to the correct port? What error message did he get?
