Minecraft server does not work.

Go to solution Solved by Agris,

Fuck this I give up on getting this to work

Just now, Agris said:

I set it to false because my friend has cracked Minecraft so it does not detect that it's not legit

I feel it is needed (not sure, didn't watch the video either)

I can set my server to false and you can see if you can connect.

Did not work for mine when I set to true, tested from premium and from cracked, none worked

I looked into it, and your right it is only to see if the account is legit.

did you check your firewall settings on the server?

Windows 10

in the windows 10 search look for "allow an app through windows firewall"

and go though the steps to add that program to the allowed list.

you can also allow port 25565, but the program one should cover it.

Do I allow the server thing or the whole map where all the data is stored in?

The program is not showing when I try to whitelist it

oh I forgot it is a .jar you want to allow Java.exe were ever that is installed.

it might be better to allow the port 25565. search for windows firewall

mstsc_2017-06-05_10-57-08.png

Then click on advanced settings

mstsc_2017-06-05_10-58-12.png

Then inbound rules and new rule.

mstsc_2017-06-05_10-58-51.png

Do port, tcp, 25565, allow connection.

can you open windows command prompt and type ping (your public ip):25565

and tell me what you get.

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

I dont think you ran it correctly run this in CMD

ping (your public ip):25565

cmd_2017-06-05_11-13-51.png

This is to check that the port is being forwarded correctly and it is contacting the PC.

Error: I could not see your service on xx.xx.xx.xxx on port (25565)

well that means your port forwarding is not working. you need to make sure your router settings are correct and saved.
