I always call them "Eva-Gate", which stands for "Evangelion Gate", since I really loved Evangelion as a kid, even more than Gundam.

I also put a roman number to distinguish them, in chronological order. For example my next build (last components will be delivered in a few days) will be named Eva-Gate IV.

Silly, I know, but I like it nonetheless :D

Desktop: WIN8-22 (PC's are on 192.168.16.x, so this PC is Windows 8 with ip 192.168.16.22)

Laptop: WIN7-23 (Windows 7 with ip 192.168.16.23)

Storage server: WINS2012-71 (Storage is on 192.168.7.x, So this server runs Windows Server 2012 on ip 192.168.7.1)

Router: Sense (This one is the only odd one in my network, it runs PFSense, so simply "Sense")

All of my previous PCs were named "NAVIx" where x was a number denoting which PC it was in chronological order of all of my past PCs. However, when I upgraded to the Sandy Bridge platform I decided to break tradition and name my current PC "Sandra".
