Get a 4670k or an AMD 8350. Games usually dont use Hyper-Threading. Sorry. I completely read over that.

1: That is a pretty good build.

2: Get a Noctua NH-U-14 for much more compatibility. Everything else should fit fine.

3: Unless you manage break everything, you shouldn't have much difficulty. Remember to not touch the CPU pins on the motherboard.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

No ssd in a over 2000$ build, you must be crazy...

If you just take it easy while building it will be fine, its not that easy to fail.

I think everything will fit in the case, but my friend has that case and its really plasticy (but if your fine with that then ok)

Probably going to have heat sink issues with that RAM.

And for the love of god, get an SSD.

I thought about getting an ssd for my boot drive but thats the only thing i can use it for really. its to small for other things. (i.e recording onto, keeping all my games on,) ill probably get one when the prices start to fall on them,

and why would i have heat sink issues

The RAM might be too tall, and you can't install the heatsink/ram due to clearance issues.

Performance is good. It will all fit in the case.

The build could be better....

What kind of videos are you making that would be several hours long...?

big chunks of gameplay seashions then splitting them up into 11 muinet vids.

Then those would be 11 minute videos, not hours.

What program are you using to edit? Are you in a hurry to buy?

But hours of recording then splitting that whole recording seashion into 11 muinet vids, (so like 5-10 vids)

And premeir elements. And not really in a hurry but really want as soon as possible

If you're not in a hurry, I'd recommend waiting for an aftermarket 290 and plan a bit later.
