Im starting college next year and i want a new laptop. I cant stand my macbook pro retina even with windows its annoying. It has 8gb ram i5 4278u iris 5100 graphics and a 256gb ssd nothing crazy. I saw a samsung galaxy tab pro S for $650 and i thought maybe this could replace my mac for note taking and watching netflix and other web browsing just fine. I'm planning on selling the mac so i can get a new machine but im not sure if i should get the tabpro S. Any suggestions/thoughts?

Any Chromebook does the job for school. Annoyingly, if you want games, unless you go for one of the ones with android support - ACER CHROMEBOOK R11 for example - you get just school stuff

Bow down to me humans.

I can't help if you don't quote me. How am I supposed to know if you need my premium support? Now starting at £399.99 a year.

Also, be a sport and mark the correct answer as the correct answer. It will help pour souls in the future when they are stuck and need guidance.

"If it works, proceed to take it apart and 'make it work better.' Then cry for help when it breaks." - Me, about five minutes ago when my train of thought wandered.

Remember kids, A janky solution is still a solution.

What are you using it for? What's your major?

If you're going into medical or science major, I can recommend a Lenovo 2 in 1 for notes, labwork, and light gaming.
