Watch_Dogs2 Performance Issue

I love the game and all but I am having a strange (to me) issue... I am not able to run the game at 60 FPS even at 1080p low settings with a i7-4790 (quad core) and a 980Ti. I ran the game and task manager in the background to check my hardware utilization and it seems to be that my CPU is at 100% utilization constantly. Is this game that demanding that a quad-core i7-4790 can't run it at 1080p low settings???

I have trouble with it on my 1070. It's just shit optimization which is unfortunate becuase it could be so good if the graphics didn't suck so majorly.

qυoтe мe pleaѕe!

Me at the Apple store: "So how fast is this little macbook?"

Apple employee: "Cheetah Fast. Lightning Fast. It's Really, really, fast."

Haha no, I bought the game when it came out and right when I launched the game I stopped due to it having garbage frames for my system so I decided to wait quite a while.

It didn't cap my 4790k, again around 80% that  was running 4.7ghz, but (big BUT) I am running 1440P on a 1080, maybe more GPU bound.

Try upping the settings to take the load from the CPU

MY Ryzen is no where near capped so not sure how a 6900k gets killed :D

i don't find it terribly unoptimized. just super demanding. the world is extremely detailed and dense, after all. settings like extra detail really hammer the CPU, as well.
