Hey guys im new on the forum but i need some help..

MY AOI liquid cooling from Corsair just took the plunge

("cant verify just yet")

Heres the story.. I booted up my system, ran to go outside to the car came back and my pc was ramped up sounding like a cotton gin or better known a jet, engine, train etc,  if you get the point by now lol.

My question is would it of damaged my CPU at 94c? Side note i wasnt away from my pc for maybe just a minute or two. I tried calling Intel on the matter but geeezsh yeah thats a once in a shootong star.

My specs 

CPU...Intel I7-6950x

GPU...GTX 980ti

Storage.. Samsung nvme 950pro..

Storage...Samsung ssd

Storage.. Seagate 1tb sshd

PSU... Evga Supernova 1000g2

Yeah i just had to get one. Thing is a blast  its amazng on the things you can do with it.. Kinda ticks me off though  since  the core i9 are coming out, and i just got the 6950x like a month ago. I had it overclocked at one time at 4.000ghz through all cores but i realized i kinda needed a more of a better cooling solution to it so i knocked it back down to the stock clock speeds .

At that clock speed it was on average 69c

The system never did shut off but i have all the tempature protection left on in the Bios Settings.

Dont really think it would be software related but im not sure.

Its running on a msi x99 titanium motherboard and the led temp display was showing that same temp so i immediatly shut off the system.
