So long story short, my Phanteks P400 has extremely restrictive airflow. I took off the front panel, and the CPU when from 77C to 64C using the AIDA stress test. I already have my 240mm radiator in push/pull with Noctua NF-F12s running at full speed.

So I'm looking for a good looking case that isn't nearly as airflow restricting but isn't $200. Thoughts? Suggestions?

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

h440?

The H440 has tremendously terrible airflow.

Something like a Mastercase Pro 5 should do nicely for much less than $200.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The bigger brother Phanteks Enthoo Pro M could work. It's what I got over the P400 due to the restrictive airflow.

In the black/tempered glass config, it actually looks pretty decent. Wish it didn't have the 5.25" bay, though.

I didn't mention it in the OP, but assuming if I reuse the case in the future for an upcoming custom water loop, does the front support a 360mm radiator? Or is it like the P400, and only supports it with HDD cages removed (which is a problem for me)? Newegg isn't incredibly specific.

The acrylic model is on sale for like almost $60 after rebate, but I want the $40 more expensive tempered glass one. Hmm, priorities.

My dilemma with the Mastercase is while it looks amazing to build in, I'm not its biggest fan as far as aesthetics go. It's definitely on my list to consider, though.

I may visit Microcenter tomorrow and my opinion might change if I see it in person, of course.

Fractal Design Define S has very good airflow ( I think) and has tons of room for watercooling as the case is wide open, has space for 3HDD and 2 SSD and also looks pretty sleek while having noise dampening material on the inside. Would be my recommendation. Although I guess if your looking for a tempered glass panel then this is not your ideal case.

Front supports either dual 140s or 3 120s. Unsure about the drive issue since it has mounts that are sold separate, there is a drive cage in the back that supports 2 3.5" drives, though.

The question stems from the P400 being able to accept a 360mm rad, but only if you remove the HDD cage, which doesn't work for me. I watched a build in the case and it looks like they fit the radiator in that space while being able to install an HDD, so it looks like the Enthoo Pro M is first on my list currently.

Yea, I've considered going with Fractal, but the lack of a tempered glass side panel is pretty killer for me. It's ultimately pretty minor for right now, but I want to build a pretty epic system in the future.

Also irrelevant update, but I put the front panel back on while the system was stress testing, and temps went from 64C on the CPU to 78-80C. Dang, I like this case and all, but that's huge.

Same dilemma here, would like some recommendations on what case to get for good airflow without it being loud. Currently on a P400S and its kinda bad even with all the 140mm slots filled in, GPU climbs up to over 78c unless I max out the fans which made it unbearably loud, even then it'll only lower to 73c at best.

My other issue would be I can't go over 590mm in height as I have a shelf just above where I place my tower, would definitely appreciate any suggestions

P.S Would want tempered glass, budget I could stretch to $200 if its really worth every penny

How about no case. Test bench, 10/10 Right Under The Air Conditioner.
