gaming Will i mess up the story if i play assassins creed syndicate before playing unity?

assassins creed is one of my favorite games and the last game i played was black flag and i couldnt play unity or rogue because i had a weak GPU.but now i got it upgraded and i want to try a newer game in my pc. i would like to play syndicate but i dont want to mess up with the story.i didnt want to watch any videos on youtube because i dont want any spoilers. if any of u guys played these games could you please simply tell me if i should go back and play the older games (unity and rogue) then come back and play syndicate or is it ok to play syndicate anyway?

has ubisoft ruined the story of assassins creed? In black flag also i was expecting a continuation from assassins creed 3 where i thought they would have to fight that god from the ending of AC3 in black flag but none of that happened

Unity is garbage, read the novel if you like the story, the game itself is junk as fuck (I do own it, still prefer the novel 10/10).

 

Rogue is the best out of the 3 and 4 arc (America), in fact it is an enhanced 4, highly recommend.

 

Syndicate is less bad because you can play as Eve

The Ezio trilogy are my favorites of the series.  Best gameplay and story.

 

I hated 3 because the assassin you play as is just a whiny teenager basically.  Also the gameplay sucked.  I didn't bother with 4 or rogue because I figured they'd be as bad as 3 and I'm pretty sure 4 and rogue were very story minimal I think?

 

Unity had a passable story mostly but the combat was really bad.  

 

I haven't played yet but I'm optimistic it'll be better than Unity.

Can't really understand the hate towards almost every Ubisoft game and Ubisoft in general. I've never had any problems with Ubisoft or their client, I loved Watch_Dogs 1 and 2 and all Assassin's Creeds. I also liked AC3 very much, it being my first AC ever. Haven't finished Unity OR Syndicate, since the story in Unity seems rather dull and slow and in Syndicate, I have to run for 5 mins to get to the mission, which takes for 30 minutes to complete. I really don't want to play the game for the next 2 years. And into the question, the stories aren't related.
