ICSvortex

Hi guys

Im sorry for this noob question but i searched everywhere and i couldnt find a good answer.

What i want to do is replace the old Graphicscard with a gainward gtx770 in the PC that a friend gave me.

Here the specs of the PC:

MB: Asus P8H67-M EVO 1155
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 3,4 GHZ
RAM: 12 GB DDR3 RAM
GPU (old): PCIe Nvidia Ge Force 210 1 GB Ram HDMI, DVI
Intel Graphicschip on Board

now my question is will this work? Or is it not conpatible?

thx a lot!

Question is will your power supply support it.

It will work just fine on your mobo, but what power supply do you have?

It'll work, but what power supply are you using?

depends on your case and PSU. If its a mid tower case and you have like a 500W PSU or better then go for it. Honestly you can buy a gtx 1060 6GB for 250€, i'd get that instead tbh and it doenst need a very high end PSU. some gtx 1060s only need one 6pin PCIe connector

It supports it. Only problem can be PSU if you don't have enough wattage or required cables

Okay i just asked my friend what powersupply is in the PC.

In on the NVIDIA website it says that the 770 has a 6pin and an 8pin connector... so both will work i guess?
