mechanical switches Which switches for gaming?!?

hey guys which switches would be good for gaming cherry mx red , brown or mx speed? pls help also can you link me to the keyboard with the switches that is good for gaming or just name and tell me with which switches. Thank you!!!

Depends on what you like.

I use MX Blue even though they are not intended to be a gaming switches.

well i cant have a loud keyboard so i cant use blues i would love too but still with o-rings is loud

I personally use MX Brown. Because I also do typing at the same time so there's that.

also i would say brown can be good but do you have like a keyboard that you would recommend me with the brown switches?

I use G710+, got it used for 60 CAD

I prefer reds for gaming and browns for everything else. In the end it's all subjective anyway.

Red are linear so they are no tactile bump making it good for fast tapping and it didnt required too much force to press and only took 2mm to actuate. (making it good for gaming)

Speed is similar to red with shorter actuation point 1.4mm.

Brown is similar to blue without clicky noise but take less force to press 45g for brown and 50g for blue.

 

As for me i use blue for gaming because i love the clicky noise and i am not a competitive gamer so i dont need red or speed feature.

so do you think i should use red but i think i shouldnt use speed i feel like i would press a key and mess my typing so is there any keyboard with cherry mx red that you would recommend me ?

order the kb, use it for a week or 2 (before the return date) and see if you like it

Get MX reds or speeds, whatever is cheaper.  I find browns uncomfortable for long gaming sessions
