Hello community! Id like to root my tablet but having little knowledge of the subject gets me a little uneasy. So given my ignorance, Ive been looking around for apk type solutions here and there but none of them work.

Here is my tablet info:

Country: Imported from Chile.
Brand: samsung
Model: SM-P900

Version: 1.2.4 (release 24)
Locale: English (United States)
Android version: 5.0.2

Has anyone here ever rooted this kind of tablet before? Can it be rooted?? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. Nick.

i have a tablet that refused to root trough any conventional methods, and what ended up working was "kingo root", followed by using a command line app to install SuperSU, and then run "kingo root remover" for fairly obvious reasons.

never tried this specific tablet, but xda-dev's is a prerry good source for this kind of thing. have you tried this? https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-pro-12/general/guide-install-official-lollipop-p900-t3154362

Thanks! Ill try and maybe do that, though flashing it gets me a bit nervous.

I hate that app.. not to mentioned it wont 100% succeed but i cant believe they fake the log to trick us into thinking that its actually downloading resources to root the damn thing but its actually bloatware.

I mean i wont mind it if its working but when it doesnt work your phone will be filled with bloatware.

I just really really hate that kind of apps.. i am fine with bloatware but at least dont fake the log report.

Although sometimes that app is working still what a dirty move.

hence why i mentioned kingo root remover after the fact :D
