How about this AOC Monitor?

Basically it's still worth my gold bars if I play esports games most of the time, right?

Of course you can, what's the main FPS you reach with your card?

Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later

Spoiler

My head on 2019 :

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol

That's amazing, although I would still keep away from the LG 25UM58-P because the dimensions

IMO 1440p is the sweet spot. No need UHD for gaming.

I managed to get my hands on an Asus ROG Swift PG279Q for £350 mint condition and top of that a very good panel with minimal BLB. But man, that refresh rate. I would trade every day 60Hz UHD for WQHD 75Hz+ any day.

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x, Cooling: Corsair H100i Platinum AIO MOBO: Asus Strix B450 F GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Founders Edition + Arctic Accelero Xtreme III RAM: 2x8GB ThermalTake ToughRAM White 3200MHz PSU: Corsair RM850x White Storage: 250GB Samsung 970 Evo NVMe CASE: Corsair 275r Airflow White OTHER: White and Orange Cable Extensions ---- MONITOR: Samsung LC32JG5 32" WQHD 1440p VA 144Hz

What are we comparing here?

A dedicated gaming monitor that has an IPS panel, 165Hz maximum refresh rate, G-Sync, 2560x1440 compared to a so called gaming monitor with an TN panel, FullHD only and FreeSync? Please stop and do some more research.

Mate, are you for real?

First of all we deviated from the topic. Second, do you really read before posting?

Option no.1: "The GW2765HT is designed for enjoying films and casual games" - Do I need to say something else?

Option 2: Again 4k? Just said that 1440p is sweet spot, so why do you even recommend 4k?

Option 3: 1080p? Again, not 1440p the question in the topic.

Back to topic: I do not own an RX580. I have an EVGA GTX 980Ti SC and playing World Of Tanks on my PG279Q, 1440p, Ultra Settings, G-Sync activated with 110fps the lowest and is a damn awesome experience. All you can do now (OP) is to check how much slower is RX480 than 980Ti and assume how many fps you'll get in your games. That's the most I can help.

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x, Cooling: Corsair H100i Platinum AIO MOBO: Asus Strix B450 F GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1080 Founders Edition + Arctic Accelero Xtreme III RAM: 2x8GB ThermalTake ToughRAM White 3200MHz PSU: Corsair RM850x White Storage: 250GB Samsung 970 Evo NVMe CASE: Corsair 275r Airflow White OTHER: White and Orange Cable Extensions ---- MONITOR: Samsung LC32JG5 32" WQHD 1440p VA 144Hz
