Controller suggestions

Can anyone recommend some controllers that resembles the Playstation controller that works plug and play in a pc?
Preferably Wireless.

Logitech F710? Looks kinda oldschool but it's solid as far as I've heard.

Hmm yeah, that could work. 
I'm not too fond of the design (Which i also think is kinda important) but it have the form as a ps controller, which is nice.

Any generic game pad, use x360ce and you're good to go.

It has to be plug and play. No software needed. I know how easy it is, but it's still a no go

Just use a standard PS4 controller. You can plug it with a standard Micro USB (older phone charger for example) to USB wire. Here is a howtogeek article.

Ohh cool, so it should work plug and play. 
The pc does have Bluetooth, so that is a fine choice.

If I might ask, why must it be plug'n'play? Sure, that's simple, but a lot of software solutions are just as good, if not ultimately better.

The SC, DS4, and XB controllers are all compatible with the SCAPI, so there's that.

It's for the ease of my girlfriend.
I want to make it as close a console experience for her as possible. 
She really likes consoles (Playstations), but since we are on a quite tight budget I would rather use something I already have (pc) and make it as close to the console as possible.
