S7 shattered camera lens...

Yeah it happened to me.. I didn't drop it..... it is the case that happens to 1 out of million people and it happened to me.. oh well I can't be too mad since I never had a broken phone in my life and I ain't really mad.. I'm just worried because I don't know if it is fixable and if it is expensive.. Anyone ever had a similar case? How much did you have to pay for it?

Here in the UK you can buy a replacement camera lens for about £4, they're not expensive.

Sorry but I don't feel like tearing down my phone, losing warranty, possibly breaking the whole thing.. I've paid a lot of money for this thing.

If your phone is still under warranty, send it off to Samsung for a repair or replacement. Seeing as you were not the cause of the lens breaking, you shouldn't have to pay anything, though it may take a while to get the phone back, depending on how they handle it. 

 

If you get it repaired by a third party, you may lose the warranty anyway, you'd need to check with Samsung and the people doing the repair. The part itself isn't expensive, so you'll mostly be paying for the labour. I would expect somewhere around £50-£100.

I just went to a local smartphone shop.. The replacement is $20.. It will be done by tomorrow... although the guy that worked there said that he doubts that camera won't be blurry anymore (it currently can't focus, but I thought it was because of the shattered glass).. in case the new glass doesn't fix my problem he said I'll have to replace the whole fkn camera which will cost around $70 total.. oh well I pray to god it is just the glass..
