Suggestions for 1440p 24"-27" IPS Monitor with G-SYNC

Hello ladies and gents!  Could I get some opinions and/or suggestions for a good 1440p IPS monitor in the 24" to 27" range that also has G-SYNC?  I figure my top end of the budget for this monitor would be about USD 700.  I'm looking at brands like ViewSonic, Dell, and ASUS.  What do you think?

 

Personal experiences, stories, tales of victory while using said hardware, and tales of woe when something failed are also appreciated.

Asus PG279Q, hands down the best gaming monitor available.  I've had it since it launched and it's spectacular.  One piece of advice though: unless you have a dated GPU you should disable GSync and instead run 120hz + ULMB.  The overall experience is better when you eliminate motion blur, and with a decent FPS you won't really notice GSync much anyway.
