Internet isn't showing up

My laptop which is windows 10 cannot find my home's Internet name.the new Internet name isn't there It shows the old one which doesn't work. Other devices can connect to the new Internet like my brothers apple Laptop, my families phones. My laptop is the only one with the problem. If anyone knows what to do please help me out.

-the WiFi button on the keyboard is on?

-can it detect any other WiFi's in the neighbourhood?

- Some atheros WiFi cards can only see ch1 to ch12. Is your WiFi on ch13?

- maybe the other devices can see the 5GHz WiFi SSID. And the 2.4GHz antenna is broken on your router/modem?

I'm sure my computer is fine I can connecy to my other house's wifi just not this on

Try in CMD:

 

netsh winsock reset

 

I've had the same issue before and this fixed it. Restart after doing this
